Challenging the Wall: Toward a Pedagogy of Hope. Published by the Arab Educational Institute, Bethlehem (a Pax Christi Partner)

The building of the Wall in the Rachel's Tomb area in Bethlehem was like the blow of a hammer to local society. How can hope be created in such a desperate situation? The aims of this book are to search for inspirational ways to challenge the Wall and to consider how such ways can serve as a pedagogy of hope.

Includes contributions from theologian Mary Grey, Pat Gaffney, General Secretary of Pax Christi, Fuad Giacaman, Director of the AEI and Toine van Teeffelen development director of the AEI and interviews and contributions from members of the Bethlehem community.

Pax Christi Exhibition

One outcome of our Review Process has been the development of an exhibition on the work of Pax Christi. This is available for use in schools, parishes, local libraries and wherever else you may be able to arrange for an exhibition to be held. It is a 6 panel exhibition (A2 size 594mm x 420 mm) outlining our history, motivation and approaches to peacemaking produced in an attractive and contemporary format.
