May - July 2013 Pilgrimage for Peace and Economic Justice

The 2013  Peace and Justice Pilgrimage  is currently walking from Iona to London to highlight Government  plans to spend £100bn on Trident while slashing vital public services. After leaving Iona on Whit Sunday (May 19th), the Pilgrimage is making its its way southwards via Faslane, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Holy Island (Lindisfarne), Hexham, Durham, York, Selby, Lincoln, Cambridge, St Albans and London.  A variety of public events and acts of witness have been planned at key points along the route. Pax Christi members are involved in some of these events and we will post details as they emerge. Why not join part of the Pilgrimage as it passes near you?

All welcome to this meeting which will include group discussion.  Some Ursuline students will also be sharing their observations after their recent pilgrimage to the Holy Land

22 June, Brecon - Palestine: Help lighten the darkness : an evening of music, readings and talk

Proceeds: to Medical Aid for Palestinians and Humanistarian Assistance Programme
