Time: 10.00 am - 5.00 pm (on 6 August) 10.00 am - 4.00 pm (on 9 August)
Prayers on both days at 11.30 am and 3.00pm and a peace stall.

- Readings, poetry, music and quiet reflection.

Annual Memorial Service for Blessed Franz Jagerstatter

Venue: Westminster Cathedral Crypt Chapel (entrance via car park, Ambrosdene Avenue)
Time: 4.30 pm

This will be followed by the annual Nagasaki Day peace walk to the Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park.

LET THEM STAY! - Vigil in Support of US War Resisters in Canada

Venue: Outside the Canadian High Commission, Canada House, Trafalgar Square, London
Time: 8am - 6pm
On 15 July, Canada deported US war resister Robin Long back to the US, against the wishes of Canada's Parliament and people (see below). Join us on 26 August - the 60th anniversary week of the founding of the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors - to stand in solidarity with the estimated 200 US war resisters who remain, and urge the Canadian Government to give them - and any other US soliders who wish to flee the war in Iraq - sanctuary.

Called by VoicesUK and supported by Fellowship of Reconciliation, Pax Christi, and the Oxford Catholic Worker.

The Disappearance of the Holy Land: a day conference addressing the crises of the diminishing Christian
presence in the Holy Land

Garth Hewitt - Canon of St George's Cathedral, Jerusalem, director of the Amos Trust, and author of ‘ Bethlehem Speaks - Voices from the Little Town Cry Out’.

We are delighted to invite you to take part in the programme which will run from a Friday evening to Sunday. The dates have been chosen to fit with requests to run the programme as a block rather than as weekly sessions, and to accommodate people who cannot do this as part of work.

The training will be facilitated by Helen Gilbert of St Ethelburga's and Pat Gaffney of Pax Christi.
